- 18 Oct: COCOL and a short San Miguel lunch before the palace, then Casa González and a rest.
- 19 Oct: No added Madrid stops. The Alcázar is optional and depends on lunch finishing on time. Protect the station transfer.

How to use the timing
Walking distances are rounded planning estimates based on the saved Google Maps place locations and neighbourhood layout, not turn-by-turn measured routes. Walking ranges assume an ordinary pace; taxi ranges include a waiting allowance but cannot predict traffic. Open each place’s map before travelling. Leave extra time for queues, weather and shopping bags.
Shop visits generally allow 25–50 minutes, snack stops 20–45 minutes, booked lunches 90–120 minutes, the Royal Palace about two hours and Toledo Cathedral about 90 minutes. Skip optional shops if the arrival flight, a queue or lunch runs late.
Opening checks and sources
These are the published details checked while making the plan. October hours and ticket availability can change. Where a current opening time could not be confirmed, the itinerary explicitly asks you to check it.
- COCOL: Sunday 11:00–15:30, so it is placed before the palace.
- Mercado de San Miguel: reopened after its early-2026 conservation work.
- Toledo Cathedral: published Saturday cultural visits 10:00–18:30.
- Alcázar de Segovia: April–October 10:00–19:30; palace and museum usually take 40–45 minutes. The plan allows a full hour and excludes the tower. Admission is not booked.
- Antón Martín market: traditional stalls operate in the morning; food-service hours generally begin 12:30, with individual exceptions. CARACOLA remains a spare option rather than a promised morning snack.
- Malababa: Serrano 8, weekdays 10:00–21:00.
- Sézane — Madrid tourism: Claudio Coello 22. Check current opening before visiting.
- Casa Dani: inside Mercado de la Paz; weekday opening 07:00–19:30, Sunday closed.
- Álex Cordobés — Madrid tourism: Velázquez 60, near Casa Dani.
- Ofelia: Barquillo 33.
- Thinking MU: Barquillo 23; Friday 11:00–20:30.

The Shops & restaurants tab retains every saved place, with its proposed day or a reason to keep it as an alternative. Match venue and start time remain as supplied in your draft; the plan does not independently confirm the fixture.
